      Smartphone As a Key

      Leave keys and key fobs behind—with the 2025 Ram 1500, owners can simply add an available digital key to a compatible iPhone® or Apple Watch® to access and start their truck without removing the phone from their pocket. Digital keys can be shared with other compatible Apple® devices, while the owner retains full control over access. A near field communication based smart card is also provided as a backup and can be used to unlock and start the truck. While traditional key fobs remain standard, digital keys provide more flexibility and ways to access the truck.
